Roald Dahl Museum storytellers

Throughout the year, storytellers from the Roald Dahl Museum and Story Centre take to the road to entertain festival goers around the country

The Museum’s Front of House team can find themselves at literary festivals, music festivals, airports and even pyjama parties! To each event they bring a mixture of lively storytelling from Roald Dahl’s classic books Revolting Rhymes and Dirty Beasts, as well as a hands-on selection of Roald Dahl-themed crafts and colouring; perfect to keep kids (and adults!) entertained.

This year they are gearing up for some great events, including the family friendly Wychwood Festival just outside Cheltenham in May, and the Wilderness Festival in Oxfordshire in August.

If you happen to be at any of the events below, you’ll be able to find the Museum team – just look for their bright purple shirts, you can’t fail to spot them! Storytelling is not to be missed and lots of audience participation is required, so be prepared to join in!
