The Twits
Mrs and Mrs Twit from Roald Dahl's The Twits, illustrated by Quentin Blake

Another of Roald Dahl's much-loved children's stories is set for the stage - and this time it's The Twits, mischievously adapted by Enda Walsh...

With musical adaptations of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Matilda currently taking the West End by storm, the latest of Roald Dahl's much-loved children's stories to take to the London stage offers something a little bit different...

The Twits, Roald Dahl's 1980 story of a nasty couple who enjoy playing horrible tricks on each other, has been mischeviously adapted by Enda Walsh and opens at the Royal Court on 7 April 2015.

As anyone who has read the story will know, Mr and Mrs Twit are not very nice. In fact they're VILE. They hold a family of monkeys hostage in a cage and force them to stand on their heads. ALL THE TIME. Can the monkeys find a way to show those vicious Twits what for?

Freely adapted from the classic story, Enda Walsh's adaptation is set to turn The Twits upside down. See the revolting revolution for yourself at the Royal Court Theatre next season...

The Twits plays at the Royal Court from 7 April - 31 May 2015. For more information, please visit the Royal Court website.
