Find out how we're celebrating 50 years of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory in April

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory's 50th anniversary celebrations continue in April with a delicious range of events and activities for you to enjoy...

Golden Ticket Sweepstakes (US)

We kick off on 1st April with the launch of Penguin Young Readers' amazing Golden Ticket Sweepstakes competition for US residents. Click here for more information (USA only). If you're not in the USA, don't worry - there are still lots of treats coming up and we'll have more chances to win throughout the year.

Kew Gardens (London, UK)

In the UK, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory will be staging a 50th birthday takeover at Kew Gardens this Easter. From Saturday 5 through to Monday 21 April 2014, Kew will be home to a whole host of Charlie-themed activities, from creating Wonka chocolate bars to (hopefully not) following in Veruca's footsteps in the Nut Room. The Roald Dahl Museum and Story Centre's always entertaining storytellers will also be on hand to cause some mayhem... Click here for more details.

Cardiff Children's Literary Festival (Cardiff, UK)

If you're in Cardiff (which incidentally is very near where Roald Dahl was born) on 12th April, make sure you've got your ticket to the Cardiff Children's Literary Festival Roald Dahl Party - again, storytellers from the Roald Dahl Museum and Story Centre will be entertaining party guests with some scrumdiddlyumptious tales. Click here for more information.

The Roald Dahl Museum and Story Centre (Great Missenden, UK)

Of course, the Roald Dahl Museum will be holding its own series of scrumdiddlyumptious Charlie-themed events thoughout the Easter holidays - take a look and find out what's going on.

And don't forget to keep sending us YOUR Charlie and the Chocolate Factory pictures - we'll have a special treat on Facebook for you very soon as well...
