The Roald Dahl Museum and Story Centre Solo Gallery. C. Louise Haslam.

Another scrumdiddlyumptious chance for classes around the world to join the Roald Dahl Museum team on entertaining and enlightening virtual tour…

We're pleased to announce our next Skype in the Classroom session is now open for schools to register their interest.

We're offering one class the chance to join the Roald Dahl Museum and Story Centre's education team on a virtual tour of the Museum. We'll explore the Museum's two galleries - Boy and Solo - and see how key events in Roald's life informed his writing, from his schooldays to his experiences in Africa and as a World War Two pilot.

Students will have the chance to ask pre-prepared questions and interact with your tourguide to find out more about Roald and his stories.

This academic year we are offering one tour session on Monday 2nd June 2014. We can be fairly flexible on timings dependent on schools' time zone. The session is suitable for children aged 6 - 11 and will last for a maximum of 45 minutes. One class will be selected from all registrants and we will prioritise classes that are studying Roald Dahl or one of his stories in their lessons.

Please register your interest on our Skype in the Classroom page, and stay tuned for more opportunites to connect with the Roald Dahl Literary Estate, the Museum and Roald Dahl's Marvellous Children's Charity through Skype in the Classroom.
