Children, families and Roald Dahl Nurses were invited to attend Clarence House to decorate the Christmas tree.
Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cornwall who is also the Roald Dahl 100 Patron invited children and families supported by Roald Dahl's Marvellous Children's Charity, along with their Roald Dahl nurses, to attend a very special event at Clarence House.
Every year, Her Royal Highness, The Duchess of Cornwall invites children to join her and decorate the Christmas tree and have a special lunch. Along with children and families from Helen and Douglas House hospice, this year, five children and their families joined this wonderful and festive event from Roald Dahl's Marvellous Children's Charity.
The children had plenty of fun with the decorations and enjoyed a delicious meal after they put the finishing touches to the marvellous Christmas tree.
Jane Miles, Chief Executive of Roald Dahl's Marvellous Children's Charity was thrilled to attend with the families and Roald Dahl Nurses that were invited. She said, "We are overjoyed that Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cornwall who has shown fantastic support for Roald Dahl's Marvellous Children's Charity invited us along to this special event. We truly value the kindness that Clarence House has shown to our hard-working Roald Dahl Nurses and the children and families affected by a serious illness."
