The Chiltern American Women's Club Supports Roald Dahl's Marvellous Children's Charity at their 2016 Christmas Bazaar.
The Chiltern American Women's Club (CAWC), are a local Buckinghamshire social organisation which supports charities through various events and activities throughout the year.
A highlight for the CAWC is their annual Christmas Charity Bazaar. This year, this festive event will be held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Gerrards Cross on Sunday 20th November, where they will be raising money for Roald Dahl's Marvellous Children's Charity and the Epilepsy Society.
With more than seventy artisan craft and gift stalls, several splendiferous raffles, as well as some delicious food on offer, this marvellous day of festivities is not to be missed. The CAWC have raised more than £15,000 from their fundraising activities over the years and they are incredibly excited to raise money for two local causes.
Pam Showalter, the CAWC Christmas Bazaar co-chair says "We're delighted to be hosting this important charity-focused fundraising event in support of two very worthy charities including Roald Dahl's Marvellous Children's Charity. This is the 29th year the CAWC has worked with the community to fundraise and we hope that people will come, have a fabulous time and help donate to some worthy causes."
The event runs from 10am - 4pm, so make sure you don't miss out on all this festive event has to offer and keep an eye out for Marvin the marvellous crocodile, Roald Dahl's Marvellous Children's Charity mascot.
The money raised for Roald Dahl's Marvellous Children's Charity can help provide Roald Dahl specialist children's nurses who provide invaluable support for children like Sam. Read more about his story.
