Roald Dahl's Marvellous Children's Charity is delighted to announce it is one of three charities to benefit from The Telegraph Christmas Charity Appeal 2016.
The Telegraph Christmas Charity Appeal, an annual campaign which supports three charities each year, is back and in 2016 and Roald Dahl's Marvellous Children's Charity is overjoyed to be one of the charities to benefit from the money raised through reader donations.
The Telegraph's annual Charity Appeal has raised millions of pounds over the past two and a half decades. In November and December 2016, they will be showing their support for seriously ill children across the UK with special stories from children and families supported by Roald Dahl's Marvellous Children's Charity.
Already, inspiring stories have been shared from Roald Dahl Nurse Jodi Betts who describes what it means to support children in her care. In addition, Roald Dahl's widow Felicity (known as Liccy) Dahl explains the importance of nurses and what inspired her to start the charity twenty-five years ago.
The money raised will help Roald Dahl's Marvellous Children's Charity provide more specialist children's nurses where they are most needed. The charity's Chief Executive Jane Miles says, "The money raised from the generous donations of Telegraph readers will help to ensure that more seriously ill children have access to the care and support they deserve."
