Some swashboggling photos from the Museum's Roald Dahl Day celebrations.
If you visited the Museum on Saturday 17 September you'd have stepped into the Museum of the Unexpected - a day of celebration for Roald Dahl's 100th birthday.
As well as a smelly trail called the SCENTenery Trail (get it?!) visitors also enjoyed storytelling, guided Village Trails with Alastair Will, balloon modelling, magic, facepainting, crafts and more.
Artist Nisha Duggal helped visitors create a huge collaborative artwork based on the 100 most popular Roald Dahl words, and budding poets helped Sara Hirsch create a special Roald Dahl 100 poem.
