International Nurses Day 2017

Roald Dahl's Marvellous Children's Charity marks International Nurses' Day.

International Nurses' Day celebrates nurses around the world who make a difference to the lives of many. At Roald Dahl's Marvellous Children's Charity, we want to show our appreciation for all of the Roald Dahl nurses that support seriously ill children in the UK and all the other nurses who work to help people across the globe.

There are currently 52 Roald Dahl specialist children's nurses providing the best possible healthcare to thousands of children with a serious illness and their families in the UK. These NHS heroes can also benefit from the Roald Dahl professional development package which helps them to develop their career and the service they work in.

As part of this package, they can attend a marvellous induction at the charity's head office, to welcome them to the organisation and provide them with an opportunity to learn more about the charity. The Roald Dahl nurses', along with other healthcare professionals and staff then attend a special tour of The Roald Dahl Museum and Story Centre, and find out more about Roald Dahl. We're holding our next marvellous Roald Dahl nurse induction day on Monday 15th May.

We're incredibly proud of the work that our Roald Dahl Nurses' do and are very excited to celebrate all Nurses' and healthcare professionals this International Nurses' Day.
