Roald Dahl's Marvellous Children's Charity attends The Big Feastival.
The 25 - 27 August 2017 marked a three-day long family-friendly festival called The Big Feastival. The annual festival, held in Oxfordshire chose to support Roald Dahl's Marvellous Children's Charity as its 2017 charity of the year.
The festival was attended by thousands of families and there was lots of entertainment including music from chart-topping pop favourites and plenty of food stalls from world-class chefs.
Marvin the Marvellous Crocodile, the charity's mascot attended the festival, along with Sarah KilBride; a renowned children's author who has supported Roald Dahl's Marvellous Children's Charity for some time and held a special reading for children and their families.
The Big Feastival have supported the charity with optional ticket donations for festival-goers and facilitated a marvellous charity area at the festival. Roald Dahl's Marvellous Children's Charity also received some splendfierous support from corporate partner Explore Learning, providers of Maths and English tuition. Five wonderful volunteers gave their time to help out at the festival.
