We've got heaps of fantastical events happening this autumn and winter. Join us with your family to add a little bit of Roald Dahl sparkle and surprise to the season.

In October and during half-term:

Roald Dahl’s Twisted Tales: Bewildering Baddies and Folklore Fiends

From the Grand High Witch to the Bonecruncher, there are bewildering baddies throughout Roald Dahl’s books. This autumn, you can find out about the fairytale roots of these villainous characters as you find the Grand High Witch, dress up as a villain and name your own giant.

Over half-term bring the kids to the Roald Dahl Museum to meet some authors of fang-tastic books, including Laura Ellen Anderson who's book Amelia Fang is jam packed with magic, adventure and vampires! Make BFG-inspired giant masks, craft potions for the Grand High Witch or make a spoon puppet out of your favourite Roald Dahl villian.

As we head into the festive season:

Roald Dahl’s Twisted Tales: Fairy Stories and Revolting Rhymes

This Christmas, you can all explore Roald Dahl’s fiendishly fantastical tales that he wrote in Revolting Rhymes. They are based on some familiar fairy stories and creatures - with a few unexpected surprises thrown in.

Step into our Norwegian Forest, explore the Museum by torchlight, help build a cardboard fairytale land and discover some stories with a Roald Dahl twist in the tale…

Over Christmas join us for some seasonal crafts, create a fairtale book box, make a clay Gremlin (Gremlins are the mischievous critters in Roald Dahl's first ever children's book) or join in with a Revolting Rhymes party on New Years Eve.
