Miss Trunchbull's newt

Got a teacher like Miss Trunchbull? Here's a little trick...

Roald Dahl's Miss Trunchbull, illustrated by Quentin Blake.

In Roald Dahl's Matilda, Lavender - Matilda's schoolfriend - takes it upon herself to teach the horrible Miss Trunchbull a lesson of her own. It involves a water jug, a glass and a slippery newt.

Take a look at the panel to your right, where you can download your very own newt, just like the one Lavender found.

Ask an adult to cut out the newt, decorate it however you'd like, and then you can use it to scare your teachers or other unsuspecting adults.

Just don't let Miss Trunchbull catch you...

Terrorise your creatures with a newt just like the one in Miss Trunchbull's water glass
