This role is packed full of potential! With an opportunity to take the lead in growing income for an inspirational charity looking to double its income over the next three years; as well as chance to develop your own career working for a small but ambitious national charity.
Working as part of the Senior Management Team for an organisation that works nationally in the healthcare sector you will help to shape the future direction and growth of the charity. The post benefits from links to a strong brand which coupled with their provision of varied services should enable their new Head of Fundraising and Communications to construct compelling cases for support.
The organisation has mixed portfolio of income of around £1m per annum, but there is huge ambition (and a service driven need) to significantly grow this and there is plenty of opportunity to introduce and develop new ideas. Your job will be to put together the strategy for achieving this growth, whilst leading the team of 5/6 talented Fundraising and Marketing professionals to realise this.
You will be an experienced Fundraiser with a track record in securing income from either: Major Donors, Corporate Partners or National Community Fundraising. Alternatively perhaps you will previously have managed and grown a mixed fundraising function at another charity. Most importantly you will be hugely passionate about generating income to change the lives of seriously ill children and their families.
Based in Buckinghamshire, this is a full time post. The salary is negotiable dependent on experience.
