Learning Session Leaders

The Roald Dahl Museum and Story Centre is on the hunt for enthusiastic and passionate Learning Session Leaders

Rate: £15 per hour for an average of 12 hours per week. Hours will be agreed one term in advance and will vary by week.

Type of post: Fixed term contract until July 2018, with possibility of extension.

Do you want to be part of a dynamic and evolving Museum Team?  Are you passionate about delivering quality learning experiences for families and schools?  If the answer is ‘yes’, you could be one of our new Learning Session Leaders.

The Roald Dahl Museum and Story Centre celebrated our tenth birthday in 2015 as well as Roald Dahl’s 100th in 2016 and we are a destination of choice for tens of thousands of schools, families and lovers of Roald Dahl's work from all over the world. Your role will bring you into direct contact with these audiences as you will prepare and deliver sessions for both schools’ groups and families.

2017 will see the Learning Team develop exciting new programmes with an aim to lead the sector in high-quality museum learning. There will be plenty of opportunity for our Session Leaders to help to shape these learning experiences and to be at the forefront of moving our schools’ programme on to the next level.  You will be keen to develop new skills and match your enthusiasms with the work of a Museum that really values and supports professional development.

Come and work with a friendly team in the lovely village of Great Missenden, just 45 minutes from London but surrounded by the beautiful countryside that inspired Roald Dahl.
