Office Junior

The Roald Dahl Story Company Ltd manages the stories of Roald Dahl, across a number of channels including book, theatre, movies, TV marketing, brand partnerships and merchandise.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Office Junior to join our team. The role will involve general office duties including answering the telephone, welcoming guests and providing general support to the team. You will report into and work closely alongside the Office Manager in ensuring a smooth day-to-day running of the office.

 

Salary £18,000 - £20,000

Contract 6-month fixed-term contract 

Working pattern Monday to Friday, 9.30 to 17.30

Role and Responsibilities

The duties that the Office Junior will be responsible for include:

  • Answering the door, welcoming guests and providing refreshments
  • Answering incoming calls
  • Assisting with co-ordinating staff activities
  • Handling petty cash and running errands outside of the office
  • Handling office post and incoming supplies
  • Providing ad hoc administrative support to the Marketing team
  • Handling the stock of Roald Dahl merchandise and sending out to external stakeholders as and when required
  • Scanning, filing, printing, binding and shredding of paperwork
  • Ensuring that the office spaces (meeting rooms and kitchen) are tidy and presentable
  • Preparing meeting rooms
  • Providing ad hoc administrative support for the rest of the team when required
