Roald Dahl Clinical Nurse Specialist – Paediatric Haematology (non-malignant)

Roald Dahl's Marvellous Children's Charity and Luton & Dunstable University Hospital NHS seek a Roald Dahl Clinical Nurse Specialist – Paediatric Haematology for children and young people with non-malignant blood conditions.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Roald Dahl Clinical Nurse Specialist in Paediatric Haematology, who will provide support to children and young people with non-malignant blood conditions.

The role at Luton & Dunstable University Hospital NHS, requires the successful applicant to develop and expand the award-winning haematology service.

The successful applicant will be an enthusiastic, motivated and dynamic nurse, who has a range of experience looking after children with non-malignant blood conditions. Working with the lead consultant paediatricians, they will create a strong family-centred service.

The successful applicant will also be able to access the Roald Dahl professional development package which will help them to develop their career and the service.  

Roald Dahl’s Marvellous Children’s Charity has 52 Roald Dahl Specialist Children’s Nurses and 2 Paediatric Neuro-Rehab Occupational Therapists giving expert help to families across the UK.  Roald Dahl Specialist Nurses play a critical and complex role. They work directly with the patient and family whilst providing a link between them and the consultant and the hospital.
