Roald Dahl's Marvellous Children's Charity and Morriston Hospital in Swansea (part of the ABM University Health Board), are seeking a Roald Dahl Paediatric Gastroenterology Clinical Nurse Specialist to co-ordinate gastroenterology care for children and young people.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, passionate, dynamic, and forward-thinking nurse to coordinate paediatric gastroenterology care within the ABMU Health Board, at Morriston Hospital.
The successful applicant will work closely with the named consultant, to deliver on services for Children and Young People. As well as coordinating paediatric gastroenterology, the post holder will also provide a link with the paediatric nutrition nurse specialist and the children's community nursing teams.
The post holder will be responsible for the assessment of care programmes and the development, implementation, and evaluation of programmes of care. The successful candidate will promote and maintain the highest standards of care and coordinate the performance of routine paediatric gastro-intestinal investigations and treatments, in conjunction with the paediatric gastroenterology and nutrition team.

Roald Dahl’s Marvellous Children’s Charity has 70 Roald Dahl Specialist Children’s Nurses, giving expert help to approximately 21,000 families across the UK. Roald Dahl Specialist Nurses play a critical and complex role. They work directly with the patient and family whilst providing a link between them and the consultant and the hospital.
