Roald Dahl's Marvellous Children's Charity and Alder Hey Children's NHS Foundation Trust are seeking a Roald Dahl Neuromuscular Nurse Practitioner to provide specialist care, support and information for seriously ill children affected by neuromuscular conditions.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Roald Dahl Neuromuscular Nurse Practitioner to support patients and their families.
The role at Alder Hey Children's NHS Foundation Trust, requires the successful applicant to lead and grow the award-winning neuromuscular service, within the Paediatric Neurology department.
They will work to provide a continuity of service provision within the Neuromuscular team, enhancing the care and quality of the life of children with Neuromuscular disease and will provide a direct point of contact for the families of our complex patients.
The successful applicant will also be able to access the Roald Dahl Professional Development Package, which will help them to develop their career and the service.
Roald Dahl’s Marvellous Children’s Charity has 55 Roald Dahl Specialist Children’s Nurses, 2 Paediatric Neuro-Rehab Occupational Therapists and 1 Play Specialist giving expert help to families across the UK. Roald Dahl Specialist Nurses play a critical and complex role. They work directly with the patient and family whilst providing a link between them and the consultant and the hospital.
