An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Roald Dahl Non-malignant Haematology Advanced Nurse Practitioner to support children and young people affected by non-malignant blood conditions.
The role at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust requires the successful applicant to help develop and expand this specialist area, creating a family-centred service.
The successful applicant will be an enthusiastic, motivated and dynamic nurse who has a range of experience in looking after children with non-malignant blood conditions.
The successful applicant will also be able to access the Roald Dahl professional development package which will help them to develop their career and the service.
Roald Dahl’s Marvellous Children’s Charity has 52 Roald Dahl Specialist Children’s Nurses and 2 Paediatric Neuro-Rehab Occupational Therapists giving expert help to families across the UK. Roald Dahl Specialist Nurses play a critical and complex role. They work directly with the patient and family whilst providing a link between them and the consultant and the hospital.
