Hands-on session for aspiring scientists, where you'll discover lots of exciting things about flight!
What do the giant peach, the glass elevator and the Roly-Poly Bird all have in common? They all took to the skies in Roald Dahl's books. In this session you'll try out experiments that lift, float, fly and fizz upwards based on some of these best-loved stories.
Times: 12.00pm, 1.30pm and 3.00pm
Cost: £2 adults and children. Price does not include Museum entry which you will also need to book to take part in the workshop.
Age: suitable for 5+ years. Under 16s will need to be accompanied by an adult (no more than two non-participating adults will be allowed in the room per group). Participating children aged 2 to 4 years will still need to pay.

Booking: you can book Museum entry and workshops online up until 4.30pm the day before (subject to availability). Workshop options will appear after selecting your Museum admission.

If there are any unsold workshop tickets they will be sold on the day on a first come, first served basis at the ticket desk.
