Do you want to see behind the scenes at the Museum? We're lucky enough to have one of the most complete literary archives in the country here at the Museum. This is your chance to take a peek in our archive store - usually closed to the public.
A member of our archive team will show you some of the treasures of the collection. Take a close up look at Roald Dahl's letters and manuscripts, find out some secrets about your favourite Roald Dahl books, and get the chance to ask all your burning Roald Dahl questions to the experts!
Great for older children aged 8 and over and adults - and perfect for kids learning about Roald Dahl and his books at school.
Times: 2.00pm and 3.00pm
Cost: £1.50 per participant, adults and children. Price does not include Museum entry which you will also need to book to take part in the workshop.
Age: recommended for 8 years to adult. Under 16s will need to be accompanied by an adult. Any participants under 8 will still be charged.

Booking: you can book Museum entry and workshops online up until 4.30pm the day before (subject to availability). Workshop options will appear after selecting your Museum admission.

If there are any unsold workshop tickets they will be sold on the day on a first come, first served basis at the ticket desk.
