This Easter, The Roald Dahl Museum and Story Centre has been celebrating all things Roly-Poly Bird related. Find out what they’ve been up to, and you might just be tempted to join in the fun this weekend.
What’s been happening?
The team at The Roald Dahl Museum and Story Centre have created a host of activities, walks and events inspired by the Roly-Poly Bird. This magnificent character appears in The Twits and The Enormous Crocodile – you’ll know him by his brilliantly blue (and rather spectacular) tail feathers.
Taking inspiration from Roly-Poly as well as all the wonderful wildlife in the local area, families and fans have had no shortage of easter entertainment; dropping in to a pop-up bird hide, heading to the craft room to create brilliant birds, or stopping by the woods for some rather special storytelling based on The Twits and The Enormous Crocodile.
Can I still book?
It’s not too late to add a bit of Roly-Poly fun to your Easter holidays - there’s still plenty on offer this weekend:
