Attention maggots! Audiences across the UK and Ireland will get the chance to see the RSC's multi award-winning Matilda The Musical as the production embarks on its second major national tour, opening in October 2025.

Based on the beloved book, with music and lyrics by Tim Minchin and book by Dennis Kelly, the musical has already been seen by 12 million people across 100 cities worldwide, and has received over 100 international awards since starting life in Stratford-upon-Avon at The Courtyard Theatre in 2010.

The show will celebrate 15 years on stage when it opens at Leicester Curve in October 2025.

The first seven stop of the tour will be:

• Alhambra Theatre, Bradford, 30 October - 23 November 2025

• Liverpool Empire, 2 December 2025 - 4 January 2026

• Plymouth Theatre Royal, 13 January - 7 February 2026

• Sunderland Empire, 11 - 28 February 2026

• Edinburgh Playhouse, 4 - 22 March 2026

• Manchester Palace, 26 March - 25 April 2026

Priority booking for all venues (except Plymouth) opens 10am, 22 October 2024. Public booking for all venues (except Leicester and Plymouth) opens 10am, 24 October 2024.
